Vote NO on Proposition 1 (2024 General Election)

Vote No on Prop 1!  Proposition 1 is not about opening primaries and is a bad idea for Idaho.  If passed it would eliminate the closed Republican Primary and replace it with Ranked Choice Voting (Jungle Primary). This would eliminate the "One Person...One Vote" system that is easy to understand and verify and replace it with a complex system of candidate "ranking" that is extremely vulnerable to tampering and errors.  Not only that the Open Primaries Initiative shuts the door on independent candidates and has led to candidates winning elections when they did not receive the most votes.

The Ada County Republican Party, the State Republican Party, and I as your Precinct Committeeman urge you to Vote NO on Prop 1!
