Only Precinct Committeemen are eligible to vote in the elections of internal Party leadership, the elections for District, County, & State leaders as well as Delegates to State Party conventions. Our local Republican Party has good constitutional conservatives who are willing to take positions of Party leadership, but they won’t get elected to those positions unless the Party has a solid majority of conservative Precinct Committeemen.

These leaders determine the direction of the Party and the policies and positions included in the Republican Party platform, which is reviewed and revised every four years. Precinct Committeemen are a key element of representative government.

In many cases, a Republican Precinct Committeeman might be the only party official a voter ever meets in person.  It is an honor to serve as your PC for District 14, Precinct 1417!
